Matthew U. Watkins has over 40 years of experience in municipal and state administration. Matt has been a leading advocate for efficient, responsible local government that spans the areas of labor relations, financial planning and delivering outstanding services to the public.

Mr. Watkins brings a unique experience and perspective having served as Administrator to local governments in both suburban and urban communities, President of NJ Municipal Management Association, NJ PERC Commissioner and NJ Director of Local Government Services. Additionally, Mr. Watkins has extensive experience with complicated redevelopment issues.

Joe Monzo

Joe Monzo has been a public finance expert for over 40 years. Joe has held the CMFO designation since 1989 and retired from active municipal service in July 2019.

Over the last 15 years of his 40 year career of public service Joe served as the full time CFO and Deputy Manager in South Brunswick, part time CFO in Rocky Hill Borough and Mansfield Township.

Joe had also served as the CFO  in Lawrence, Millstone and Ewing Townships over the course of his career. At the State level Joe served as the Deputy Director and Acting Director of the NJ State Division of Local Government Services in 2003.

 Over the course of his working career Joe has served as an adjunct professor for Rutgers University in both the Finance Officer and Master of Public Administration curriculums.

Since his retirement Joe has started a consulting company  JPMonzo Municipal Consulting. LLC that assists local government in financial matters, professional searches and conducts webinars on topics and issues facing the local government community.  Additionally, Joe is also an associate with NJ Community Solutions, LLC.
